At Babbacombe Guest House we pride ourselves on the number of walkers and hikers who come back year after year or who have recommended friends to stay with us. There are many guest houses who refuse to accept hikers and walkers because they often only want to stay for the one night as they progress on their coastal walk. At Babbacombe Guest House we welcome them.
The South West Coast Path Association members consist of some of the nicest people you could wish to meet. When you consider that the coastal path runs from Minehead to Poole via Cornwall then you realise that one-night stop-overs are the only way you can progress.
Pam and Ray understand the needs of these clients and regularly go out of their way to assist the hikers and walkers who stay with them. Pam provides some fantastic packed lunches if she is given notice the day before. This is a great benefit as there are not that many cafes or shops along parts of the route!
Another service that Pam and Ray offer to hikers and walkers is the onward transfer of baggage. After all, nobody actually wants to explore the rugged, scenic coastline of Devon whilst carrying all of their belongings with them. To find out more about this service please contact us .
